The Monster: Vintage FET Limiter-Style Compressor (VST2/3, AU, AAX)

The Monster is a dynamics processor that emulates the “all-buttons-in” compression effect from classic FET limiters. Features include a High Frequency Detection circuit for smoother top-end compression, a Hi Pass Filter to prevent bass frequencies from triggering compression, a Punch control for transient recovery, and a Mix knob for parallel processing.

Compatible with macOS 10.15+ (Intel/M1) and Windows 10/11. Supports VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX 64-bit formats. Requires iLok 2 or 3, iLok Cloud, or machine authorization. Available as a free download through Slate Digital’s platform.
