The Kiss of Shame – Tape Degradation Emulator Plugin (VST3/AU)

The Kiss of Shame is an audio plugin that simulates magnetic tape degradation and analog circuitry effects. It features interactive, touch-enabled tape reels for real-time flanging manipulation, and models Hurricane Sandy environmental damage effects. The plugin includes Age and Shame controls to adjust degradation intensity and sonic artifacts.

Compatible with 44.1kHz sample rate on Windows and Mac (including Apple Silicon), it’s available in VST3 and AU formats. While originally designed with multiple tape types and environments, the current version includes one tape type and the Hurricane Sandy environment setting.
