Quick Haas is a free psychoacoustic panning plugin by Venn Audio, designed for Windows VST and Mac Audio Unit systems. It utilizes the ‘Haas Effect’ or precedence effect, a psychoacoustic phenomenon where small delays between audio channels create a perception of directional sound.
This plugin offers more realistic panning compared to traditional methods, especially when used on stereo playback devices. It’s user-friendly: adjust a central knob to shift sound direction, with fine-tuning possible up to a tenth of a millisecond. Ideal for subtle adjustments under 2ms, Quick Haas enhances spatial audio positioning.
