Origin: The Free Lo-Fi Plugin for Authentic Vintage Sound
Origin is a vintage/lofi plugin designed to give your samples an authentic old tape machine sound. It features a resampler/bitcrusher with two unique filters for an “underwater” effect, often heard in Drake’s music.
The plugin also includes controls for tape saturation, noise, movement, and chorus, allowing you to instantly infuse your samples with a vintage vibe.
Origin, which is 64-bit only, was built based on vintage gear for a realistic analog sound. It also includes a special mode in the “Movement” knob for creating realistic tape pitch wobbles and replicates the famous Juno 106 chorus sound.
