HomeCorrupter: Lo-Fi Audio Degradation Effect (VST2/VST3/AU)
HomeCorrupter is an audio effect plugin that simulates vintage computer audio degradation by manipulating sampling rate, bit depth, and playback speed.
It features up to 30 seconds of recording capability and real-time playback rate adjustment for tape-like effects. Each parameter (sample rate, bit depth, playback rate) can be controlled manually or automated using built-in LFOs with speeds up to 10 Hz. The plugin includes a wet/dry mix control and supports Windows (7+), macOS (VST2, VST3, AU), with Linux builds available from source code.
